Which activities make you lose track of time?
When I am outdoors or by the water I lose track of time.
Nature soothes and heals our tired minds. The fresh air, the rustling of the leaves. The gentle rain falling. A deer walking into the meadow. The water hitting the shore by the lake.
Hiking on trails, I find a place to sit and absorb all of the beauty, sights and sounds around me. At the lake I’ll swim and sit quietly on the shoreline. I become a part of the landscape.
Being out of a city environment helps me to decompress. When you are relaxed and happy the time goes by really fast!
